Norwegian Open Riichi Tournament 2022 – 26th and 27th of November

We’re happy to announce our first EMA tournament after covid unfreeze.

For registration please fill out this Google Form.

This will be a 2 day tournament, with 5 hanchans on the first day and 3 hanchans on the second. Both days will have a lunch break, with snacks provided cost-free.

The registration fee will be 450 NOK per person

Location is Tjernhuset, by address of Odvar Solbergs vei 176, 0973 Oslo.

Directions to get to the venue:

Take Subway lines 4 or 5 (Vestli), get off at Grorud

From Grorud, take bus line 63 (Romsås Ring) to Øvre Svarttjern.

The venue is the white house you see straight ahead as you get off the bus

The schedule can be adjusted if necessary. If so, please contact us with your need and requested change before the end of October.

For travelers coming from abroad: From experience, it will be difficult to arrive on Saturday in time for getting to the venue, unless your early flight lands at Gardermoen. From Gardermoen, taxis have fixed rate to the venue location ranging between 500-600 NOK, which saves you easily 40-60 minutes travel time instead of going into the city center. If this possibility applies to you, do not hesitate to contact us for further help in making use of this option.

Registered Players: 31 from 12 countries. Limit is 40 participants, players over limit will be placed in the waiting list.
